Fort Snelling Cadet Squadron FORT SNELLING STORY Fort Snelling Squadron started out as Washburn Flight, part of St. Paul Squadron, in the summer of 1995. In spring of 1996, the squadron was chartered as Col. Cabana Cadet Squadron. In the summer of 2000, the name was changed to Fort Snelling Cadet Squadron.
