Volunteers Wanted! Who are the Civil Air Patrol? · For over 65 years citizens just like yourself have been serving their community by volunteering their time and services with the Civil Air Patrol.
· Although we sometimes wear military style uniforms, the Civil Air Patrol is not a branch of the United States’ Armed Forces. It is strictly a volunteer organization whose members are dedicated to serving their community.
Who can join? · Anyone with the desire to serve their community from the age of 12 and up!
· There are no educational or medical requirements for joining, only the desire to help.
· Because we are entrusted with the safety of our youth, adult members must pass a background investigation.
Who is needed? · To provide emergency services, the Civil Air Patrol needs trained personnel in the medical, legal, and clergy fields, as well as private pilots.
· However, even if you are not trained in any specific field your time and desire to help are invaluable to your community. Some additional areas you may be able to assist in are:
