Civil Air Patrol has many opportunities for people to serve. Obviously members can be pilots, communicators, leaders of the Cadet Program, educators. But did you know that Civil Air Patrol needs volunteer administrators, personnel officers, publicists, search and rescue technicians, aircraft mechanics and many other specialists to perform our Missions for America.
For your convenience this website is divided into a series of pages that explain each of our specialties as they associate with Civil Air Patrol's Missions and necessary support functions. These are:
Aerospace Education
Cadet Programs
Emergency Services
Mission Support Services
Many of our squadrons are in need of people to help them perform their missions. If you are interested in joining CAP as a Senior Member (Adult) contact our recruiting team or find the squadron nearest you and pay them a visit (but please contact them first.)

Don't worry if you may not be qualified for a certain area of interest. CAP has formal and on the job training for most specialties (except those that require professional certifications.)
