MN Wing Logistics and Communications Conference

Location: Wing Headquarters Hanger and Fleming Field Terminal Conference Room Fleming Field, South Saint Paul, MN (SGS)

Times: Logistics: 0900 – 1400 (approximately) / Communications 0900 - 1200 (approximately)

Uniform: Any authorized CAP uniform

Vehicle Requirements: All units with vehicles are required to bring them to the conference for inspection. Ensure you bring the vehicle operations binder and all safety gear required for that vehicle. If you are unable to bring your assigned vehicle contact Major Grubb for additional instructions.

Paperwork Requirements - Logistics:
All supply officers or persons in charge of supply will bring
1. Their signed S-3 Report (Unit Property List) for 2008,
2. Their signed CAPF 175 (Vehicle Justification) for 2008
3. Any changes to the S-6 Report (Real Property Report).
4. The Unit Property Folder and ALL 2007 paperwork for their unit
5. A current or updated Form 2A appointing you to the billet of either Supply or Logistic Officer
Note: Supply officers are required to download their unit S-3 via eServices>>>CATS. Unit commanders must either give permissions through NHQ website or download the forms for their officers. Major Chet Wilberg can provide amplification as to permissions granting procedures. The permissions shall only be for "Read" and for "Issue" privileges only.

Paperwork Requirements - Communications:
1. Their Signed S-8 report for 15 January 2008. Units attending may hand carry this to the communications meeting on 2 February instead of mailing it.
2. The Unit Communications Equipment Management File and ALL 2007 paperwork.
3. A current or updated Form 2A appointment of Communications Officer and Transfer of Accountability Statement.
4. A signed list from the unit commander authorizing members access to CEMS.

Lunch: Attendees should bring a lunch, or there are several fast food locations within minutes of the conference.

Administration: There will be copying capability available as well as limited computer support. Units with wireless laptops should bring those as you will be able to log on to the Wing wireless network for internet access.

Equipment: Logistics/Communications officers may turn in any equipment they want removed from their S-3 or S-8.

Funding: The mission number for this event will be passed separately at a later date.
