          The Civil Air Patrol Cadet Program Could Be Just The Thing For YOU!

Spend your spare time with like-minded kids - boys and girls, ages 12 to 21, practicing first aid, shooting rockets, learning how to servive in the woods, learning how to find downed planes, doing volunteer work for our community. At Civil Air Patrol’s weekly meetings, you’ll learn teamwork and leadership skills that you can use for the rest of your life!

You’ll learn the principles of aviation and aerospace flight and will get to ride in real airplanes!

You wear real Air Force Uniforms and earn ribbons and badges as you progress through the program.

CAP offers national cadet encampments with activities in emergency services, engineering, technology, physical fitness, team building and flight training. You can even visit foreign countries through the International Air Cadet Exchange.

Thanks to good preparation and valuable scholarships, many CAP cadets go on to careers in the aviation and aerospace industries.
