The Civil Air Patrol is the volunteer civilian auxiliary of the United States Air Force. CAP maintains a nationwide fleet of light aircraft for use in carrying out its emergency services and education missions. Its members fly over eighty percent of the search and rescue mission hours directed by the Air Force Rescue Coordination Center. Cadets are given 5 hours of orientation flights in our aircraft, and many go on to earn their pilot's license!
