Become a Civil Air Patrol Volunteer!Viking Composite Squadron is one of eight Civil Air Patrol squadrons in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. It meets at Grace Church in Eden Prairie, rooms 150 and 154 on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Click here for a map and directions to our meeting location The Civil Air Patrol is the volunteer civilian auxiliary of the United States Air Force. CAP maintains a nationwide fleet of light aircraft for use in carrying out its emergency services and education missions. Its members fly over eighty percent of the search and rescue mission hours directed by the Air Force Rescue Coordination Center. Cadets are given 5 hours of orientation flights in our aircraft, and many go on to earn their pilot's license! |
